SAHAS Foundation’s Initiative On World World Homeless Day “EkरातOnफुटपाथ”
Being an urban poor at any point of time in life is a fact of deep crisis especially in the case of a city like Mumbai.
We walk the paths of our lives every day and see these people on the roads, we usually ignore them as they hinder the beautiful sight to the city. On #WorldHomelessDay we as a whole team would like to share our experience of spending some time with these wanderers who have no where to go. We in order to experienced the dark side of staying without a home without a roof, it is hard to imagine a life like this living a comfortably stable life. You experience no hopes of living a street life, you barely see a ray of hope coming your way, we need to work for these lives and to eradicate poverty from our society.
We would like to request each and every one of us to work and change things around us, we need to give the same amount of time for these segments, that’s how we would achieve the narrative of becoming the first world! We need to make people eligible for digitization and its wise use before we digitalis the nation, we need to make people aware of the fact that urban povertious states are a disgrace to our culture and ethics of our surrounding. Sadly our governance isn’t active for it but we people as a whole can start taking initiatives on our personal account, and contribute to the change.
#SAHASFoundation and team stand to make people aware for the homeless the poor, they are people living around you, take out some time and care.It changes a lot if things.
